We are excited to announce that we will be exhibiting at two marine exhibitions in 2019, Seawork (Southampton) and METSTRADE (Amsterdam) in line with our ambitions to grow our presence within the marine sector. Being specialists in precision grinding, and with a large stockholding of marine grades of stainless-steel bar, Bird Stainless has seen an ever-increasing demand for shafts destined for the marine propulsion industry, and so we are now looking to develop further into marine markets both at home and overseas.  Our capabilities include being able to grind, straighten and polish bars with a diameter from 2mm to 254mm, in lengths from 2.5m to 10m – ideal for marine shafts.

The first exhibition is Seawork, June 11th -13th in The Mayflower Park in Southampton. Seawork is the largest commercial marine and workboat exhibition in Europe, attracting over 610 exhibitors and 7600 visitors from all over the world. It is our first time at this show, and we will be pleased to welcome visitors onto our Stand P020 in Hall 5, the first Hall after the entrance.

We follow this up later in the year by exhibiting at METSTRADE (Marine Equipment Trade Show), 19th – 21st November at the RAI Convention Centre, Amsterdam.  METS is the world’s largest leisure marine equipment show focusing on innovation, market developments, and networking.  It is a truly global show, with 87% of visitors being international. We exhibited at the show for the first-time last year and on the success of that decided to be one of 1,500 exhibitors again at this year’s show.

Join us in at either or both exhibitions.  We are keen to meet and talk with current and new customers as well as potential international agents and distributors.   For more information on the exhibitions click here:
